Pokémon – Gloom IR #198 (Obsidian Flames) – BGS 9 Mint

If you're looking for a special Pokémon Single Card that is immediately recognized as a collectible, Gloom IR #198 from Obsidian Flames is an exciting choice. Here, you aren't buying just any pack, but exactly this Illustration Rare in English and in a BGS 9 Mint Slab. This is especially practical if you want to build your Collection strategically while also holding an already graded card in your hands. For buyers who appreciate clear condition details, this format is much more convenient than an ungraded Single Card.

Sometimes it isn't the loudest card that stays with you the longest. The artwork of Gloom from Obsidian Flames has exactly this quieter, atmospheric effect, setting it apart from many standard cards. Those who collect Illustration Rares often look for designs with character rather than just powerful cards. This Gloom card is a great fit if you want to add a cohesive, beautifully presented single piece to your Pokémon Collection that won't get lost in your Binders.

The English Language is the obvious choice for many buyers who collect Pokémon cards internationally or across different sets. Especially with Obsidian Flames, this makes sense if you already have English cards in your archive or do not separate your Collection by German versions. With Gloom IR #198, you get a copy that fits seamlessly into an international Pokémon Collection and gains additional structure through Grading. This makes the card particularly interesting for Collectors who want to remain flexible in terms of Language.

A graded card is especially helpful when you want to ensure a reliable Condition when buying. With this Gloom card, the BGS 9 Mint grade immediately shows you that the card is not simply being sold without inspection. This is helpful for Collectors because it makes it easier to decide whether the card fits into an existing high-end collection. Anyone looking to buy individual Pokémon cards and valuing a transparent classification will find a straightforward solution here.

Many buyers discover a set through Boosters that they later want to collect more intentionally. If you want to build your Obsidian Flames collection in exactly this way, a single Illustration Rare is often more worthwhile than even more random packs. With Gloom IR #198, you buy the card you’re looking for directly, without relying on a lucky pull. This is especially convenient if you want to secure specific artwork from the set and expand your Collection in a targeted way.

This card is aimed at buyers who appreciate modern Pokémon artwork and a clearly graded Condition. The BGS Slab ensures that Gloom is perceived not only as a card, but also as an object that can be presented to a high standard. It is a fitting format for a display case, Binders with graded cards, or a themed Obsidian-Flames collection. Anyone who prefers Illustration Rares with clear classification will find exactly the right balance of artwork and collector status here.

An ungraded card can be a sensible choice if you are simply looking for the artwork or want to add a more affordable version to your Deck or Binders. This BGS 9 Mint version, on the other hand, is the better choice if presentation and clear condition matter to you. The difference is therefore less about gameplay and more about collecting. For buyers who consciously want to purchase Obsidian Flames at a higher quality level, the graded card is usually the more logical choice.

Gloom IR #198 is a card that is ideal for organized collections. Thanks to its English language, well-known set, and graded Slab, it can easily be integrated into an existing archive. Such a specimen also makes a clear and high-quality gift for Pokémon Collectors, without requiring extensive prior knowledge. Anyone who wants not only to own modern Illustration Rares but also store them properly will make an excellent choice with this card.
