AoS Sylvaneth: Tree-Revenants

If you want to make your Sylvaneth army more mobile and flexible, the Tree-Revenants are a very suitable addition. The unit has a distinctive appearance and fits well into armies that focus on mobility, positioning, and a clear faction aesthetic. Players who build their Warhammer Age of Sigmar armies not only around large models but also around functional squads will particularly benefit from a kit like this. The set is also interesting for Collectors, as it adds a clean, thematically strong unit to the Sylvaneth Collection.

This set is especially worthwhile if you want to specifically expand an existing Sylvaneth army or round it out with a mobile unit. The Tree-Revenants are not a flashy one-off gimmick, but a solid and versatile addition to your army and the battlefield. Players who enjoy thinking about positioning and flexibility will quickly come to appreciate this box. It is also appealing for new Players, as it clearly shows how a smaller unit fits into the overall picture of a faction.

Collectors who consistently build up their Sylvaneth collection benefit from the Tree-Revenants fulfilling a clear faction role and being instantly recognizable visually. Especially in Warhammer Collections, it often feels more cohesive when different units not only exist but also belong together. That is exactly what the Tree-Revenants do very well. They not only complement the Collection but also help keep a faction visually cohesive.

In a game, a mobile unit like this can make all the difference when you want to deploy your army more flexibly. The Tree-Revenants are a good fit for Players who combine Warhammer Age of Sigmar with tactical movement and smart positioning. Instead of relying solely on heavy units, you get a team here that makes your army feel more fluid. This makes the box especially interesting for Players who are looking for not just power, but also control.

The multi-part plastic kit offers various weapon and head options, making the building process much more engaging. For hobbyists who enjoy personalizing their models, this is a real advantage, as not every miniature has to look identical. This allows you to match your Tree-Revenants to the rest of your Sylvaneth project and give them a personal touch. Anyone who enjoys working out small differences and details on their models will find exactly the right material here.

Compared to Kurnoth Hunters or larger character models, the Tree-Revenants appear lighter and more flexible. This is helpful if you want to expand your army with mobility in mind, not just presence. A Sylvaneth army in particular often needs exactly this mix to keep the overall composition cohesive. The unit therefore fills a different gap than heavier models and complements the faction’s profile naturally.

The set is particularly appealing for new Collections because it remains manageable while still providing a clear sense of cohesion. You don't have to invest in a large box right away; instead, you can build up Sylvaneth step by step. This is especially practical if you first want to find out whether the faction is really right for you. At the same time, the box remains cohesive enough to fit meaningfully into a larger Collection later on.

The Tree-Revenants are clearly a set to build, paint, and field in the army. Those who prefer collecting products in their original packaging can of course keep the box unopened, especially when building an organized Warhammer sealed collection. For active Players, however, the benefit clearly lies in using them right away. So if you are looking for a flexible Sylvaneth unit, the set is primarily intended to be opened and used.
