Hour of Devastation is the second part of the Amonkhet block and continues the story surrounding Nicol Bolas and the world of Amonkhet. The set introduces mechanics including Afflict, Eternalize, Exert, and Aftermath and offers numerous cards for different decks and strategies.
One special highlight of the set is the coveted Amonkhet Invocations. These extremely rare Masterpiece cards feature an exceptional card design and may, in rare cases, be included in an Hour of Devastation Booster.
A total of 24 different Invocations were released in Hour of Devastation as part of the Masterpiece Series. Opening older HOU Boosters therefore offers not only the regular cards from the set but also the chance to find one of these special collectors' cards.
The MTG Hour of Devastation Booster Pack is suitable for both Players and Collectors of older Magic products. In addition to cards from the regular set, Foils and special Basic Lands from the set may also be included.
Thanks to its original sealed packaging, the Booster is also suitable for sealed storage as part of an existing Magic: The Gathering Collection.
